Mario Roman, the founder, fell in love with the beauty industry while working at King Cole Beauty Supply in the early 1960’s. With a dream, a pocket full of ambition and endless energy he began selling all sorts of beauty products from the trunk of his car and eventually opened the first Imperial location on SW 8St, which is the current Pasta Factory Restaurant. With hard work coupled by good old fashioned service he grew and grew, relocating to 62nd Avenue and buying the current location a few years after in 1972 and the rest is history. During the very late 90’s his son returned to the beauty industry taking over the helm, bringing fresh ideas and a 20th century vision. Groomed in the business since he was a toddler and educated in Finance and Law he quickly noticed that to properly fulfill Imperial’s mission he needed to remodel and transform the business.
